Art Type

Inspired by the strangeness of the natural world.

Spotted Tiger Moth — Southern Europe
Rhyparia purpurata

Its patterned wings seem to hold several colours at once, muted, bright, dark and delicate. At first it appears almost decorative; look longer and something more mysterious begins to emerge.
