Refund policy

All items are made to order unless stated otherwise. This policy is in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. It is governed by the laws of England and Wales, without affecting any statutory rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.


Original Artwork

All original artworks are sold as final and are non-returnable except where items are damaged in transit or faulty.

Damaged Items:
If your artwork arrives damaged, you must notify me within
48 hours of delivery by emailing hello@mariapeltonartist.com  and providing:

  • Photographs of the artwork and packaging
  • Your order number and delivery details

If the damage is confirmed:

  • I will provide return instructions
  • The artwork must be returned in its original packaging
  • A full refund will be issued to your original payment method within a reasonable timeframe after return


Prints

All prints are made to order and are non-returnable except where faulty or damaged.

Damaged or Faulty Prints:
If your print arrives damaged or faulty, you must notify me within
48 hours of delivery by emailing hello@mariapeltonartist.com  and providing:

  • Photographs of the damaged print and packaging
  • Tracking number of the package
  • Delivery date and time

Where a fault is confirmed, I will arrange a free replacement.

I do not accept returns or offer refunds for change of mind.


Collection Products

(T-shirts, tote bags, plates, candles)

Faulty or Damaged Items:
You must notify me within
48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence.
Where a fault is confirmed, I will offer a
replacement or full refund in line with your statutory rights.

Clothing (T-shirts & Tote Bags):
You may request a return within
14 days of delivery for non-faulty items, provided that:

  • The item is unused, unworn, and in original condition
  • Any original tags or packaging are intact

You are responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty.
Refunds will be processed after the item has been received and inspected.

Non-Clothing Items (e.g. plates, candles):
As these products are made to order, I do not accept returns for change of mind.


Cancellations

Orders cannot be cancelled once placed, as all items are made to order and production begins shortly after purchase.


Important Information

  • You must contact me before returning any item; unauthorised returns may not be accepted
  • Items must be returned in appropriate packaging where required
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method only
  • Minor variations in colour or finish may occur due to the production process and are not considered faults

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer law.
