Candid Arts Trust is an artist-led arts organisation and exhibition space in London, providing a home for exhibitions, creative events and the work of emerging and established artists.
For this exhibition, I exhibited Victoria, a work from my Victorian Visions series.

Victoria is part of my Victorian Visions series, inspired by the quiet intensity of early photography and particularly the intimate portraiture of Julia Margaret Cameron.
The series explores faces that appear both familiar and distant, reimagining historical portraiture as emotional landscapes rather than records of real individuals.
In Victoria, a composed Victorian portrait becomes something more ambiguous, a glimpse of a character who seems to exist somewhere between the photograph, memory and imagination.
