I was pleased to introduce Salon Exhibitions, a new series of intimate exhibitions.

Each Salon Exhibition will bring together a selected body of work from my practice, offering the opportunity to experience the work in person, meet me and discover more about the ideas and stories behind the paintings.

With limited capacity, these exhibitions will be ticketed events, allowing for a more personal and considered experience of the work.

The first Salon Exhibition is City States.

City States

City States brings together these colourful cityscapes exploring the mood, atmosphere and identity that a place can hold.

Beginning with recognisable cities, the works transform familiar environments through heightened, posterised colour. The paintings retain elements of the real places that inspired them, while shifting them through colour, detail and imagination.

The result is a series that sits somewhere between observation and imagination — familiar cities becoming more heightened, dreamlike and personal.

 

Featured Artwork

The exhibition will feature works inspired by London and New York, including New York Blue and London Fever.
