Exhibition — Lewisham Arthouse
1-6 June 2026

This exhibition has now closed.
I was pleased to be exhibiting at Lewisham Arthouse, a not-for-profit, artist-led cooperative in South East London. The 36 Hours project is a fully inclusive community art exhibition, that was inspired by the American curator Walter Hopps' 1978 open-door show.
For this exhibition, I exhibited Taste 1, a work from my Creatures of Character series.

Inspired by environmental pressures.
“How will our tastes change as our future food, with spiky legs and tiny wings, calmly begins to crawl toward us?”
Taste 1 considers the possibility of insects becoming part of our future food systems, exploring how environmental pressures may challenge our existing ideas around food, taste and what we consider acceptable to eat.
The work forms part of my Creatures of Character series, which explores imagined creatures and the relationship between the familiar, the strange and the natural world.
