The work & Euphoria

Inspired by Indian paintings, Celebration of the Moon imagines a wild and magical celebration beneath the night sky, where celestial beings come alive through dance.

The sense of euphoria, celebration and movement within the work felt like a natural fit for the Euphoria exhibition. The dancing figures, vibrant colours and fantastical atmosphere create a feeling of freedom and joyful abandon. Allowing the work to explore the theme through an imagined, otherworldly celebration.

The work forms part of my Between Worlds series, exploring imagined worlds where the boundaries between the real and the fanciful begin to dissolve.
